When you meet Jessica one of the first things you notice about her is her gorgeous smile…yes, those pearly whites. Beautiful this girl…seriously. It may just be that perfect smile came from her Dad who is an orthodontist. ..and one of the nicest ones around. If you can’t help but want braces after you see these pictures..go HERE and Dr. Toolson will take care of you. 🙂
Anyway, pearly whites…moving on. It seemed only proper, now looking back, that Jessica wanted lots of pearls, and creamy whites at her wedding blended with peaches and tones of silver and gold that would bring the sparkly and romance.
I loved Jessica’s bouquet by Twigg Botanicals and the opalescent ornament clusters that looked like overgrown pearls sitting among fragrant English garden roses, tulips, peach roses and silver brunia. It was hand tied with a silver gray satin ribbon and adorned with Jessica’s mother’s strands of pearls as a special sentimental touch.
and Hunter’s smile- no exception.
all photos by Natalie Norton Photography . I am always amazed by her talent in capturing the bridal party. So lovely. This umbrella shot has to be one of my favorites!
The boys look awfully cute too holding bouquets. 🙂
The girls wore sparkly silver dresses by Adrianne Papell and carried vintage umbrellas.
Pearls dripped from the centerpieces and the floral covered chandelier that hung over the dance floor while mercury glass vases and votives added more sparkle to the ambiance.
Each guest was greeted with hand-wrapped homemade chocolates and caramels packaged in cellophane bags with the couple’s monogram and the song lyrics “love me tender, love me sweet, never let me go”.
various hues of peach vintage umbrellas lined the entrance to the white tent.
The cake made by the groom’s mother was simply beautiful and was also draped with small pearls.
guests enjoyed a delicous dinner of comfort foods like pasta, butternut squash soup in bread bowls and beef sliders and then headed over for fresh baked homemade mini donuts that were made in front of them and creamy hot chocolate.
A custom made backdrop held Hunter’s love poems that he had written for Jessica over the years. I loved that Hunter was brave enough to share them. It was such a sweet display of his affections. This made for a special place for guests to visit and enjoy during the reception.
a custom silver stencil was also created to hang on the backdrop behind the doughnut station that held white doughnut bags with their matching monogram.
a toast to the happy couple!
Hunter and Jessica may you always make each other smile as much as you did this day! Best wishes as you enjoy your happily ever after. Much love to you both!!
