Joahna and Arda were such fun clients to plan and design for and we are so excited to share their wedding which is featured over on Wedding Chicks today! Playing off of our couple’s heritage and their favorite sweet treat, we created a TurkishDelight inspired wedding with a themed specialty cocktail, Turkish Delight desserts, and ornate details mixed with playful and musical touches. For all of our movers and shakers, each guests was given a real tambourine with their name printed in vinyl and favored with what else but Turkish Delight candies in bamboo steamer baskets. Tambourines served in place of table numbers amongst soft blooms and pastel succulents from Plenty of Petals. Guests were also invited to leave “Pearls of Wisdom” for the couple at sign-in and were given Ikea-styled ceremony programs as a nod to when our couple met while working at Ikea. We also worked with Peanut Press to design fun paper elements that read “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.” The most magical part of the night was when Joahna and Arda walked in for their grand entrance to all of their guests shaking their tambourines! We loved watching this family join together with their sweet little son as the ring bearer. Joahna and Arda were truly a Turkish Delight to work with and we couldn’t be more excited for their future together!
