We’re back at the Inn the Rancho Santa Fe for a walkthrough today and are dreaming back to the last time we were here for Tory and Blake’s gorgeous wedding captured by the one and only Jose Villa. We always love working with design-savvy brides and our beautiful Tory (now owner of Smith + James events) was one of our very favorites! When she told us she wanted a “barefoot in the garden” feel with a side of rock and roll romantic, we were immediately on board! We loved creating a moody garden party with leather escort cards from Amber of Pitbulls and Posies and mixing La Tavola linens with the rustic texture of wood tables. Combined with gorgeous florals from Flower Wild, an eclectic lounge setup from Pow Wow, tabletop rentals from The Ark and glassware from Casa de Perrin, we can’t help but swoon over the results. Knowing that these two are total foodies and cheese lovers, we brought in marble platters to display an assortment of gourmet cheeses. One of our favorite details was our sign-in cake table where guests were asked to light a candle and make a wish for the new couple. We’re wishing this sweet couple many more years of love, laughter and romance!
