When guests entered the reception area, they encountered the soft colors of blush, sand and seafoam in the centerpieces and linens. “You, Me, and the Sea” titled the escort card wall custom made by us here at Amorology. Each shelf displayed a variety of shells and escort cards showing their guests to their tables, each named after a favorite San Diego beach.  At each place setting, guests were greeted by the favor bag of sweet sloops chocolates stamped with “grandma’s favorite.” 

As if they needed to “dive into something sweet,” the macaroon table was plentiful and popular. Their wedding cake was sweet and simple, decorated with just an icing ribbon and fresh succulents, and oh so delicious! Later in the evening the couple cut the cake with Danny’s Grandfather’s Sword who had served in the Marines. The sword had only been used 3 times, to cut the wedding cakes of Danny’s mother and her two sisters. They chose to carry on the tradition while honoring Danny’s grandfather.
