Lindsay and Mickey are a fun loving couple who allowed us to really bring out our playful side when it came to designing their special day!  Inspired by their location – the La Valencia Hotel located along the coast in La Jolla – and soft, earthy tones we went with a cool color palette that consisted of light grey, creams, neutrals, and mauve with pops of of coral and peach, and copper elements. 

After saying “I do” at All Hallows church, Lindsay and Mickey’s friends and families headed over to La Valencia Hotel to get the fun started and celebrate!  As they entered the reception space, guests found their seats and kept their cool thanks to table assignments written on popsicle sticks in vintage champagne coupes, in front of a back drop made of hand painted popsicle sticks created by Back up Backdrops.

Guests sat down to a tabletop complete with floral arrangements full of dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus and foliage from the Dainty Lion Floral Co. Each place setting was eclectic and made up of a combination of dusty pink, grey, and black china with delicately tied napkins.

We kept the fun coming when we switched the escort wall to a dessert display stocked with an assortment of macarons by Mac Bar and a lounge space complete with vintage inspired furniture pieces from Adore Folklore!  Images from Lindsay and Mickey’s special day were captured by Devon Donnahoo Photography.
